Meet the therapist.

About me.

Defined by my early experiences as an immigrant, the owner of a neurodivergent brain, and a woman, I spent many years sitting with the anxiety and discomfort of existing in a culture (and a world) that wasn’t built for me.

It was my own journey of trauma healing through somatic awareness, IFS/parts work, and nervous system regulation that led me to this choice of career, finding deep purpose and meaning in holding space for the healing of others.

My journey as a therapist started in 2014, and after 6 years of doing this work in a variety of settings - from community agencies to group practices - I started my private practice in 2020.

After years of working with clients of all ages, identities, and sets of life experiences, I found unique purpose and meaning in supporting neurodivergent women + members of the LGBTQ community through the unique challenges and unresolved traumas that impact their ability to live a life of authenticity, purpose, and peace.

My approach.

Often, the pace of modern life encourages us to disconnect from our bodies, to overextend ourselves in the interest of preserving one-sided relationships, and to ‘hustle’ at the expense of our own wellbeing.

From this place, it can be hard to identify what’s wrong - to name the thing that feels ‘off,’ that makes life feel so impossible. But our bodies hold so much wisdom that our minds do not.

Stress is revealed through a clenched jaw. Tensed shoulders. Constant headaches. In my work with clients, there’s a label I use for these types of symptoms —

Protection.

And the way we work with protection needs to be intentional. Slow. Respectful of the purpose it serves.

Because symptoms serve a purpose.

And I treat them (and you) from a place of curiosity, compassion, and calm.

Because in our work together, all parts of you are welcome.

The striving parts.

The parts that want to be liked.

The angry parts.

The parts that feel stuck.

And healing?

Well, it’s bringing the armored up parts of us from where they’re stuck in the past….into the present.

Into a space of safety and spaciousness.

To be felt. Witnessed. Healed. And ultimately released.

Through individual therapy, I teach neurospicy humans to slow down, breeeeathe, and create a more integrated relationship with their unique brain and sensitive nervous system.

Sound like your cup of tea?
