Neuroaffirming therapy for ADHD.

Virtual therapy for adults throughout North Carolina.

The ADHD experience can make it feel like our brain is broken.

The pile of unfinished projects in your closet. Toggling back and forth between hyperfocus and complete shutdown with daily tasks. Chronic overwhelm that can feel impossible to contain. Distractibility and inattentiveness that often adds to the thought of ‘what’s wrong with me?’ A nervous system that feels on edge without an off switch in sight.

Helping you heal your relationship with your ADHD brain.

Imagine looking at those ‘doom piles’ of laundry without feeling the sinking feeling of shame. Learning how to manage the swirl of internal panic during a fight with your partner. Motivating yourself to accomplish tasks without the noise of your inner critic taking over. Embracing the difference in your brain and nervous system that make you a naturally multi-passionate, creative solver of complex problems.

Yes, it’s possible.

My approach to therapy.

With an affirming and strengths-based approach, the goal of therapy is to help you manage your sensitivities and triggers, rather than trying to change or fix your brain.

I approach therapy with a spirit of collaboration, and always defer to you as the expert of your lived experience. I’m just your fellow neurospicy copilot, trauma research nerd, and resident somatic practitioner.

In therapy, I help clients understand their ADHD brain, calm their inner critic, help you develop ADHD-friendly mindfulness tools, and teach you how to regulate your nervous system out of fight, flight, and freeze.

Neuroaffirming therapy can help you…

Understand how to best care for your neurodivergent brain.

Introduce coping skills and support for your unique ADHD profile.

Manage the intensity of your internal critic.

Slooow down your swirling thoughts in moments of stress.

Learn practical tools to regulate your sensitive nervous system.

Process and release feelings of grief, shame, or depression around your diagnosis.

Let’s work with your ADHD brain instead of against it.

Because your wellbeing is worth investing in.
